Maddox (b.1948, Liverpool – d.2000, Hawkes Bay) was a prominent Abstract-Expressionist painter and peer of Tony Fomison and Phillip Clairmont. His work was strongly informed by his Christian beliefs and often depicted systems of loose crosses.
